INDICATIONS OF PROBABLE WEATHER AT 9 a. m. TO-DAY.

Wind — Between east and north and northwest at places north of Napier, and between south-east and east and north at other places. Barometer— Further fall generally. Sea— lncrease on both coasts. Wabninqs have been sent to all stations. Strong easterly gales have been experienced at some of the northern stations, and the barometer has steadily fallen in the north since Saturday, but has risen a little in the south. K. A.
