Moeller has been appointed a Justice of the Peace for the colony. The lease and goodwill of Tafner's Family Hotel, Cuba-street, has been disposed of by Mr. Watty to Mr. A. W. Farris, for tbe sum of £1600." There was a large attendance at Messrs. T. Kennedy Macdonald and Co.'s sale of the township of 'Carterton North, this afternoon. The sections were selling at from 26s to 35s per foot when we went to press.
