The steamers Mnnawatu for Wangonui, Jane Douglus for Foxton and Kangitikei, and Kennedy for Nelson, sailed last evening ; and the s.s. Hawea, for the North, got away about o o'clock this morning. Tho s.s. Tui will arrive here this evening from ivyttolton and ICaikonra. By advertisement in another column it will bo suen that the N.^.S. Company's clipper ship Waikato leaves Lyttelton for London on 22nd inst. A private telegram received from Hokitika this morning states that the schooner Clio, which went ashore there yesterday, has got off, tho only injury she received being a slight strain.
