The result of the races was telegraphed from the racecourse to-day as follows :—: — Free Handicap — Dockwood, 1 ; Womba, 2 ; A.T., 3. The Craven Plate was easily won by Robinson Crusoe ; Salisbury, 2 ; "Viva, 3. President's Handicap — Eva, 1 ; Deacon, 2 ; Rangatira, 3. Mares' Produce Stakes— Chester, 1 : Woodlands, 2 ; Cap-a-pie, 3. This was a fine race. 7th September. ¦ Arrived, s.s. Taiai'oa front New Caledonia.
