T ANDED, EX PLEIONE. Two very suporior Pianos, by Ncufeld, Berlin EDWARD PEARCE. T)OTTIE'S SCOTTISH HIGHLAND X OIL. Testimonials from Residents in Wellington to bo seen at the Agents. Lumbago. — This Oil has had more prompt action in this than in any other disease. Apply as for Kidney disease. Rheumatism. — There are a great many varieties in the acute kind. Follow out the instructions for gout on every part of the body where pain exists. The part should be well fomented with hot water, well dried, and the oils rubbed firmly in, covered with a cloth, and applying the warm iron. The skin is the most important organ of the body, and when subject one half the day to excessive heat, and at its clese to excessive cold, it becomes like a piece of iron which is often heated and often cooled — simply useless to protect the internal organs. Life then can only be fairly prolonged by due attention to this organ, and its elasticity preserved by the daily use of the Scottish Oils. Most people are subject to chills and colds from sudden changes. The great cause of internal lung disorder may be avoided by the daily use of the Scottish Oils, rubbing it into the chest, back, and shoulders, and such joints as are liable to become easily affected. The dressing of the whole body is of great use in all cases of scurvy, skin, prickly heat, and all these classes of disorders. For keeping away Mosquitoes, Flies, Fleas, Ants, &c. — Rub the Oil on hands, face, or body, till perfectly dry ; repeat as often as requisite. 1(55° In all cases of disease in which the outer skin scales away, or there is great dryness or disease, this beautiful refreshing Oil may be used several times a day, anointing the whole body ; where there is great tenderness of the skin the most convenient way is to paint the body, using a large camel hair brush. Unlike most oils and ointments it does not soil, and is very easily taken out of olothea with a little warm water. Chest Diseases. — Rub the Oil all over the cheat, and around by the back ; this must be done for all chest disorders. Dropsical Complaints of all Kinds. — Rub several times a day, especially at the root or seat of disease. "- Ear Ache. — Dip a piece of ootton wool iv the Oil, and insert into the ear, or .Byringe the ear with the oil, hot or cold. This ia also a cure for deafness, but must ¦be continued. Members of Cricket, Rowing, and Football Clubs, and Athletes, may -with great advantage use it for the muscles 'of the arms and legs, rubbing night and morning ; it renders those muscles elastic and 'firm ; should the muscles be sore a dressing will give immediate relief, and prevent the distressing effects of stiffnesS) &c. ' Blistered and Swollen Feet are greatly benefited by dressing them twice a day. This Oil reduces the inflammation, heals the sores, and leaves, a pleasant smell. Bleeding from the Nose. — Dip a pledget of cotton wool in the Oil, and put it gently into' tho n,ose, or lay on, the back, and allo,w a little of the Oil to go into the nostrils, or dip a sponge or cloth in the Oil aud press on the nose. Bleeding from the Lungs, Womb, • Arms, or Wounds may be treated with it. Agents : BARRAUD AND SON, Chemists and' Druggists.
