QUARTERLY LICENSING MEETING. •VTOTICE is hereby given that the Quarterly J^ Licensing Meeting for the purpose of taking into consideration all applications for certificates for publicans' licenses, as by the Licensing Act, 1873, as amended by the Licensing Act, 1873. Amendment Act, 1874, are authorised to be granted by Licensing Courts, and the transfer or renewaf or removal of such licenses, of which due notice shall have been given to the Clerk of the Licensing Court for the district In which the premises in respect of which such application is made are situated, will be held for the licensing districts of Lambton, Te Aro, Thorndon, Porirua, and KaroriMakara, at the places and on the dajs hereundtr mentioned :— CITY OF WELLINGTON— Lambton District Te Aro District Thorndon District Porirua District Karori-Makara District At the Resident Magistrate's Court House, Wellington, on Tuesday, the sth day of June, 1877, at noon. I The Lady Principal will have the superyuion of the establishment, and, besides giving instruction in certain classes, will be required to supervise the general teaching, and be responsible to the Board for the discipline and conduct of the school. Applicants will be required to furnish testimonials showing they have received a liberal education, have proved themselves efficient teachers, and have been accustomed to the management of a school. They most also state in their applications the various subjects which they thoroughly understand and are competent to teach.
