AUCKLAND. 25th August.
I The Hero, from Sydney, passed Bay o Islands at ten this morning. The Ackadia, from Mercury Bay to Lyttelton, was dismasted, all deck cargo swept away, and one man, William Goodman, washed overboard. The Pretty Jane towed her into Poverty Bay.
