A little breeze has been excited in the papers by a row between Mr. Raphael, agent for the Opera Company, on the one hand, and M. i Simonsen and his business manager, Mr. Keith, on the other. Mr. Raphael being discharged, hauled Mr. Siraonsen up for abusive language. The football team is preparing for the contest with Canterbury, but owing to the Waikato and Thames representatives being unable to come to town for practice, it is feared the team will be in bad trim.
