Auckland, 18th August. » Mr. Binney reports :— Duueuin flour, £12 10s; Christchurch flour, £12; pollard, £7; oats, 2s 7d; barley, market glutted; maize, 4s Gd; butter. Is; cheese, lOd; hams and bacon, 10J; pearl barley, £23 Mr. Buckland reports :— Fat cattle, 25s to 335: fat sheep, 3£d. Duxedin, 19th August. Grain Market. — Wheat is enquired for, and really prime samples would command full rates"; northern. 4s 9d to ss; g>od ordinary, 4s 4d to 4s 7d; iufi-rior, from 3s to 3s 9d. Barley moves slowly ; quotations are unchanged. Oats continue in fair demaud ; for export, Is 10 J to Is lid ; for good to prime feed, miliiug, aud seed samples, -is t> 2s 2d.
