DUNCAN has much pleasure in announcing that he has received instructions from Mr. Sam Howard, and will, j with the permission of John Martin, Esq., offer for sale by auction, on Monday, the 26th inst, at 2 o'clock, at his salerooms — The remainder of the lease of the Bank Hotel and premises. The existing lease has about twelve months to run, and is held at a very low rent. The present business is a large one, and may fairly be described as one of the best and most lucrative hotel businesses in the city. The proprietor, John Martin, Esq., has intimated to Mr. Howard his willingness to grant any purchaser of the above lease a renewal of the lease upon an advance on present rent, for a period of 5, 7, or 10 years. The present rent of the Bank Hotel is £4 per week. Also, At same time, immediately after the sale of the above — The residue of the lease of the Panama Hotel, having about eleven months to run. Three-fourths of the purchase money may remain on mortgage. 2. A parcel of freehold land in Pirie-street, part of town acre No. 300, having a frontage of 20ft to Pirie-street, together with a five-roomed house erected thereon, nearly new and substantially built, with outhouses and every convenience. £200 of the purchase money may remain on mortgage. TUESDAY, 27th JUNE. SALE OF CO-OPERATIVE BAKERY STORE. WILLIS-STREET. MR. R. J. DUNCAN has received instructions from Mr. C. Moody to sell the above Land and Buildings erected thereon, by public auction on Tuesday, 27th June. The equity of redemption of a piece or parcel of freehold land and building thereon, formerly the property of the Co-operative Baking Society, situate in Willis-street, having a frontage of 28ft to Edward-street, being part of sections 199 and 201 on the plan of the City of Wellington, having a total depth of 233 ft. The buildings comprise a large shop, with plate-glass windows and verandah. The dwellinghouse, six rooms, newly painted and papered, and new iron roof. The bakehouse has two ovens, with large flour-loft capable of storing .60 tons of flour. Stable and large yard, 18ft of the Edward-street frontage with a depth of 74ft, is let on lease for 21 years at £10 per annum. The above properties are situated near the residence of Mr Passmore in Tinakori Road. Terms of payment are — one-fourth to be paid in cash, and balance by bills at 3 months, bearing bank interest at the rate" of 8 per cent, per annum. Woodville is destined to become one of the most important inland townships in the Northern Island of New Zealand, being situated at the junction of the Wanganui, Wairarapa, audNapier main trunk line of road ; and the property fronts the proposed line of railway from Napier to Wanganui/ and also to Masterton.
