LYON AND BLAIR'S ALMANAC AND DESCRIPTIVE HANDBOOK OP THE PROVINCE OF WELLINGTON. - The Almanack contains the usual Calendar and Diary, Astronomical Data, Moon's Changes, Sailing Directions, Post Office and Telegraph Regulations, Customs Tariff, Stamp Duties, Gardening Notes and Gardeners" Calendar; Government, Legislative, Official and Business Directory; also, a large amount of interesting and useful information in a condensed form, referring to Sanitary Measures, Food, Cookery, Household Recipes, Hints for Emergencies, Management of Bees, Poultry Breeding, and numerous other subjects. A carefully-executed Map shows the whole of the roads and railway lines in the Province. Special articles referring to the interior i of the Province, and its resources as a field' for settlement, have been contributed by competent hands. Carefully-compiled information is given on every subject likely to interest the intending emigrant, so that the work will be admirably adapted for sending to friends in Great Biitain and Ireland.
