THE LEVEE.
His Excellency the Marquis of Normanby held a levee at Government House to-day at noon. It was very numerously attended,, about 300 being present. His Excellency had invited the Volunteer Corps to attend as a guard of honor, but subsequently learning that they had paraded on both the previous days, the Marquis considerately intimated that he would not put them to the trouble of attending. His. Excellency wore the usual uniform with the order of St. Michael and St. George. He was attended by Lord Hervey Fhfpps as A.D.C., Captain Le Patourel, Assistant A.D.C., and Captain Maling, Private Secretary. The following gentlemen had cards of private entree ; — fion.
