The Evening Star boat went off to the Phcebe from the Manakau Heads, and brought the following summary to the telegraph station ; — SYDNEY. 9th November. The New South Wales Government has carried the new tariff, slightly amended. The Auckland riflemen left for Melbourne yesteruay. Governor Robinson wa3 well received in Victoria. The barque Anna, bound for Auckland, has been wrecked on King's Island. The Victorian Assembly has passed the Appropriation Bill. The Assembly will be prorogued next week. There has been nn steamer for New Zealand from the 30th ult until last Thursday,
