The colonial steamer Luna, Captain Fairchild, arrived in port last evening at 6.30 p;m,> Sh*-left Onehunga brf M<faclay last,' . afc 10.30 a,m>, but in consequence of meeting & strong south wind, she anchored tinder Albatross Point all night; she steamed into Kawhia next morning, at which place Mr V. M # Lean.had a meeting with a large number of natives ; the iCirig^S son and many influential chiefs came on board, and remained till the Vessel started at 5.30 same evening j from Kawhia to Wellington Captain Fairchild reports thick rainy weather. The s,s, Taranaki left Mannkau at noon on the 31st ; arrived at Taranaki on the Ist at 6 p. in, ; left at 1 p.m., and arrived at Nelson at 7 a»m, on the 2nd ; left at 1 p.m., and wets obliged to anchor in Gttard's Bay, the weather being too thick for her to proceed j left Guard's Bay at & a.m. on the »/d, and arrived at Picton at 9 a,m, ; left at 10, and arrived at Wellington at % p.m.
