DISTRICT PRIZE FIRING.
The firing for district prizes was continued by No. 1 Co. W.R.V., at the Adelaide Butts, on Friday and Saturday afternoons, Lieut. -Colonel Reader being in command. On each occasion there was a strong wind blowing across the range from the right front. The following Are fche scores made in addition to those published on Friday : —
Two lumrs spent in watering a garden just before it is soaked by a thundershower is a work of superirrigation. The inmates of the piison at Cambridge, Mass., have formed an opera troupe and do some pretty good singing- It is not a travelling company* though.
