(Before J. C. Crawford, Esq., R.M.) ASSAULT. W. L. Hirst, charged with assaulting W. Pickering, was fined 2s and costs. USING THREATENING LANGUAGE. Robert Cochran, charged with using threatening and abusive language to W. Pickering, was bound over to keep the peace for six months in the sum of £10, and to pay costs. William Pickering, charged with using abusive language to W. L. Hirst, was fined 5s au.l costs. T>R UNKENX ESS. Peter Hanson, charged with being drunk, was fined ss. Charles Green, charged with being drunk and breaking a looking-glass, the jjroperty of b\ Jones, was fined os, and ordered to pay 20s, the value of the glass. CIVIL CASKS. M'Kee v. Ramsay— Claim £1 ISs. Judgment for £1 17s and costs, 10s. R. Vearae v. H. A. Short— Claim £32 10s. Judgment for amount and costs, £2 10s. bailie v. H. W. Petre— Claim £40 15s.
