THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S VISIT. THE RECEPTION COMMITTEE.
A Government Gazette, issued to-day, contains the appointment, by his Excellency the Governor, of the following gentlemen, to be Seception Commissioners, to devise and carry into effect all necessary arrangements for a fitting reception of Ills Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, and for paying suitable marks of reßpect to His Royal Highness during hU visit to this colony; — The Hon Edward William Stafford Theodore M. Haultaiu John Hall James C. Richmond J. C» L. Richardson John Hyde Harris Thomas Houghton Bartley John Johnston Ponsouby Peacoke Sir David Monro His Honor Alexander James Johnston Isaac Earl Featherston John Williamson Hugh Carleton, Esq. Alfred Ludlatn, Esq.; and James Edward Fitzgerald, Esq.
