BOYS' AND GIRLS' AGRICUL-
TURAL CLUBS
.VERY GOOD WORK NOTED
The final judging of kitchen gardens in the Ellesmere Agricultural Clubs' project was made on Saturday by Messrs D. F. H. White and F. N. Gilbert. While the work was of very good quality, in some cases reaching a really excellent standard, the gardens were not as forward as in previous years. The ijudges made the following awards: Special Merit Certificates j First class: David Hurford, David ! White, Margaret Lill, Iris Hill, I Kevin Taylor, Brian Chambers, and I Mervyn Rathgen. Second class: Mervyn Keele, Ron Hudson, r Malcolm Thompson, Mavis j Sheat, Mervyn Henderson, Betty I Croft, Edith Husband, John Sheat, Leslie Barnett. Third class: Robert Johnson, lan (Moir, Lyndsay McLaughlin, Peter Thompson, Peter Lewis, Judith j Fever, Peter Anderson. Merit certificates are awarded to tall other members, who have completed the project to the satisfaction of the judges. Again the club wishes to thank these judges who devoted a considerable amount of time and thought to the work. This care contributes very largely to- the success of the work.
