SCHOOL. PICNIC
Last Thursday the Lincoln School held its annual picnic ,at Coe's Ford, where a very enjoyable time was spent, and when novelty, swimming and running races were held. HALL, COMMITTEE'S SOCIAL, j the final of the series of thej Hall Committee's socials, Mr G. S. Peryman was in charge iof progressive euchre. Successful players were Mrs W. S. Templeton and Mr W. Robinson .and, consolation prizes went to E. E. Watkins and Mrs T. I Medlin. Winners of the aggregate were Mr and Mrs C. B. Moody. PUBLIC MEETING I A public meeting was held in the Lincoln Hall last evening to elect a new committee for the Lincoln Recreation Ground Domain Board. Mr B. P. Moran was in the chair. The election ,of officers resulted: Chairman, Mr B. P. Moran; secretary, Mr John Peryman; committee, Messrs C. E. Schaffer, Thos. Hewton, W. T. Pearson, J. Marnell, A. K. Woods, T. Medlin, and W. A. Habgood. An inspection of the grounds was arranged for January
