At Leeston

GEORGE FORMBY IN "COME

ON GEORGE!"

To be able to play the part of a jockey in a film has been the goal at which Britain's favourite comedian, George Formby, has been aiming ever since he can remember.

He is in his element therefore, in his latest comedy, "Come On George," in which he achieves his ambition, and thoroughly enjoys himself tearing through the numerous hilarious situations encountered during the course of the film.

In this picture, which will be screened at Leeston Theatre on Saturday, he finds himself rushing along the roof of an express and in order to .avoid being decapitated by the mouth of a tunnel, falls into a loose box occupied by a particularly savage horse.

From then on the pace is fast and furious. He gains the horse's confidence and is made its trainer, is forced to take the part of an acrobat in a fair-ground side-show-has the inmates of a flea circus poured down his pants by a mischievous lad, .and"last,'but*not least, wins a thrilling race against terrific odds.

Added to all this are four grand new song hits—"l'm Making Headway Now," "Come on George," "Goodnight Little Fella," and "Pardon Me," all sung by George to the accompaniment of his ukelele.
