TENNIS

The final match of the men's singles in the Lincoln handicap tennis tournament has been played. After a closely contested game, S. Duff (-20) beat R. N. Suckling (plus 20), the score being 61-59. PERSONAL Mr Joe Lancaster, North Island, has been the guest of his father, Mr Thos. Lancaster, Lincoln.

Mr George Chapman, Burnham, was recently the guest of Mr and Mrs J. Keast, Lincoln.

Rev. Father Seward and Mr Gerald Seward have returned to Lincoln after a short visit to Akaroa.
