SCHOOL FLOWER SHOW
The second annual flower show of the Sedgemere school was held on Wednesday, and proved a great success. A large number of entries, in flowers and vegetables were made by the' children—a total of 210 in all, which/ considering the size of the school, was1 a very creditable effort indeed. The display was staged in the1 school and presented a very colourful picture. A large number of visitors admired the show during the afternoon and evening. The flowers were capably judged by Miss R. McLaughlin, while the judging . of the vegetable section was in the able hands of Mr C. Morton. The following were the prize- - winners in the various classes: — FLOWERS Sweet Peas: Red or pink.
