MARSHALL—DUFF

The wedding was celebrated recently at St. John's Church, Leeston, of Daniel Gibson Marshall, eldest son of Mr and Mrs D. Marshall, Killinchy, to Myrtle, only daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Duff, Leesto'n. The church was decorated by friends of the bride, the Rev. E. Hanna performed the ceremony and the organist was Mrs Hanna.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a trained gownj of magnolia duchess satin; the simple decollete was artistically j decorated on the left side with a sheaf of arum lilies worked in amber seed beads, the effect being carried out on the train. Tiny satin buttons trimmed the full length Elizabethean sleeves and fastened the frock at the back. Her embroidered tulle veil was held in place by a trail of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of arum lilies and roses. Miss Bell Marshall, sister of the [bridegroom, attended as bridesmaid, wearing a frock of pink opal georgette with a halo head band to tone. She carried a bouquet of j roses. Pamela Dalley attended as flower | girl, wearing an ankle-length frock jof pale green crepe georgette, trimmed with lace. Her head band was of green velvet leaves and she carried a posy of pink roses. Mr L. Howson, cousin of the j bride, acted as best man.

At the church door, the bride was presented with silver horse shoes from Raymond Brears, cousin of the bride, and from her nephew Philip Duff. The reception was held at the Leesfon Town Hall, where the guests were received by Mrs R. Duff, who wore a navy frock and hat; the bouquet was of autumn tints. Mrs D. Marshalt wore a black frock, with hat to tone and she carried a posy of peony roses. When Mr and Mrs D. G. Marshall left on their wedding tour, ! the > bride was wearing a brown costume and hat, with accessories to tone and she carried a fur, a gift of the bridegroom. Mr and Mrs Marshall will make their hdme "in Killinchy. ' ;
