Motukarara
In the Motukarara Hall, Mr and Mrs Clark, of Greenpark, entertained many friends and relatives to a dance to celebrate the engagement of their eldest daughter, Elsie, to Mr Gordon Cameron, of Timaru. Bettle's Orchestra supplied the music for dancing. At the annual meeting of residents for the election of a management committee for the Motukarara Hall, the following officers were elected: — Chairman, Mr F. Radford; hon. sec, Mr T. Simmons; committee, Messrs J. Miller, W. Smith, A. Miller, C. E. Gray, D. Paterson, T. Wheeler, and G. Cooke. Mr and Mrs Cooke were visitors
