GERMAN JEWS

STOWAWAYS ON NAZI SHIP

DEPORTED FROM LONDON

(From The Guardian's London

Correspondent)

LONDON, October 1

The Monte Pascoal, the ship that brought 800 Nazi ex-servicemen on a visit to London last week, also had on board five young German Jewish stowaways. Despite a close watch, they managed to smuggle themselves into London, but they were captured during the week-end and have been shipped back to Hamburg. Not a soul in the ship knew that they were on board. They were found in Central London by Scotland Yard oflicers. They were unable to speak English, and had no identification papers. Vainly they pleaded to be allowed to stay.
