in the Kinnersly family of Guernsey^ Now the tradition has been broken and was duly celebrated this week, when Susan Kinnersly was christened at St. Peter Port Church.
Her mother, Mrs John Kinnersly, chose her own birthday for the christening, and gave a party which was attended by all the notable peoplein the island. ■■■'<# Bailiff Victor G. Carey, civic head of Guernsey, proposed the toast of Susan's health. The last daughter born in the Kinnersly family, who was named Mary, was at the court of an English monarch. Kinnersly, Susan's grandmother declared. .. '
