SUNDAY SCHOOL CONCERT

The Presbyterian Sunday School hall at Southbridge was well filled on Wednesday evening with parents and friends, when the annual concert and prize-giving of the Sunday School took place. The programme, consisting of action songs, songs in costume, plays and individual items, was very enjoyable. The children performed their parts very well indeed and their work reflected credit on those who were responsible for thc'r training, Mrs H. Chapman and Miss H. Bishop. Greetings were extended by Rev. L. McMaster, while an interesting conjuring act was given by Mr G. Rodgers, of Christchurch. Prizes were presented to the primary department, which was under the leadership of Mrs H. Parkin and Miss Bishop.
