YOUNG FARMERS
ELLESMERE CLUB MEETS
Thirty-seven members attended the annual, meeting of the Ellesmere Young Farmers' Club over which Mr H. G. Stephens presided. A report presented by Mr G. Rennie, secretary, and the balance-sheet by Mr L. Coe were adopted, the statement showing a credit of £4/3/10. Officers elected were: Advisory president, Mr G. W. R. Osborne; chairman, Mr H. G. Stephens; secretary, Mr C. S. Tod; treasurer, Mr D. H. Hurford; committee, Messrs R. Lilley, G. Rennie, G. McLachlan, and K. Lemon; delegates to district committee, Messrs H. G. Stephens and C. S. Tod. It was decided to arrange, if possible, for a lecture at a future meeting by a solictor on agricultural law. i Mr G. W. R. Osborne gave a ! short talk on "Do's and Don'ts in I Farming" and was warmly thanked' for his keen interest ha the clubj as advisory president for 1937. Votes of thanks were also accorded the Ellesmere A. and P. Association, The Guardian, Mr A. Mansfield, the officers and all who had assisted the club during the year.
