SUDDEN DEATH

YOUTH AT SOUTHBRIDGE

A youth named Colin Roley Gowland, 18 years of age, son of Mr E. Gowland, who resides in the Southbridge town district, died suddenly shortly after 10 o'clock this morning.

The lad did not enjoy robust health and lately had suffered from a cold. Yesterday, however, he was about as usual. He did not get up at the usual time this morning, though he had a light breakfast. When Mr Gowland went into the room about 10 o'clock his son was sitting on the bed, and, observing that the young fellow was not well, Mr Gowland took him in his arms. In that position the lad died in a few minutes, before a doctor could be summoned. It was not known at three o'clock whether an inquest would be necessary, but Constable Hart was in communication with the Coroner, Mr H. A. Young.
