DUNSANDEL v. LEESTON,
A friendly croquet match was played at Leeston between teams representing the Dunsandel and Leeston Clubs, resulting in a win for the visitors by five games to two. Scores (Dunsandel names given first): — Doubles: Mesdames N. J. Brown and John Walker 26, Mesdames Power and Jackman 12; Mesdames H. A. Brown and Skinner 26, Mesdames Clausen and Ormandy 15; Mesdames Wraight and Boag 26, Mesdames Mclntyre and Walker 19. Singles: Mrs N. J. Brown 26, Mrs Power 2; Mrs John Walker 21, Mrs Jackman 26; Mrs Skinner 25, Mrs Ormandy 26; Mrs Boag 26, Mrs Walker 22. Two games were unfinished.
