MOTUKARARA

W.D.F.U. MEETING

The monthly meeting of the Motukarara branch of the W.D.F.U. was held in the Motukarara Hall, Mrs L. Coop presiding over a large attendance. A social afternoon was much enjoyed by members and visitors from the Greenpark branch of the W.D.F.U. Items were contributed by Mrs W. G. Witte (pianoforte solo) and Miss W. Withell (song). A competition was won by Miss M. Gray.

For the December meeting the junior members are entertaining. The competitions for that month are to be the prettiest cup and saucer, and a Victorian posy.

Competitions resulted as follows: Dairy butter, Mrs H. Vercoe 1, Mrs T. Wheeler 2; bowl of flowers, Mrs Vesey Robinson 1, Mrs F. Coop 2.

The hostesses were the Gebbie's Valley-Teddington members.
