PENINSULA SHOW
LARGE ENTRIES RECEIVED,
RECORDS IN SOME SECTIONS,
In the course of a conversation by telephone this afternoon, Mr W. Stanbury, secretary of the Banks Peninsula A. and P. Association, stated that splendid entries had been received for the association's annual show, to be held at Little River next Tuesday.
In some sections the entries reached record figures. The numbers in the light horse sections showed substantial increases and there was every indication of the show being one of the most interesting and successful in the association's history. As in previous years, exhibitors in Ellesmere, Springs and neighbouring districts will be well represented.
Entries for the flower section, which is usually a big feature of the show, do not close until next Saturday.
The Guardian will be printing the catalogue for the show as usual.
