SPRINGSTON
A social, arranged by the members of the Sunshine Club, in aid of the sweets and variety stalls for the Hall Company's flower show, was held in the hall. There was a very good attendance. Competitions were won by Mrs W. Leslie, Miss M. Riordan, Messrs F. Hill and R. Tyson. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss N. Hoskin and Mr H. Hoskin. Music for dancing was supplied by Mrs P. Riordan and Miss M. Riordan, and Mr O. Bailey was M.C.
