Mrs Martin Slattery and Mr Jack Slattery are spending a holiday in Invercargill.

Mr J. H. Dark, who has proved himself an efficient and popular officer during his stay at Dunsandel as postmaster, has received notice of his transfer to the West Coast. Mr Dark has taken a very active interest in local affairs and his departure will be a loss to the district.
