THE LONDON MARKET.
The New Zealand Meat Proucers" Board, reviewing last week's London market quotations, stated as fellows: Lamb.—Lightweights have slightly improved and generally tone of market better. Demand continues to improve. Mutton.—Wethers: Prices easier owing to additional supplies arriving. Ewes: Meeting with fair demand at | slightly higher prices. Beef.—Weak, owing to low prices | Argentine chilled beef. N.Z. Porker Pigs: Trade slow at ; unchanged prices. j N.Z. Baconer Pigs: Firmer owing to | increase in prices of Continental bacon.
Mutton ranged from 2ijd to 4£d, according to weight, while lambs sold from 4£d to 5 l-Bd. Porker pigs 4gd and 5| d, baconers 4^d.
