RAKAIA v. LEESTON AND SOUTHBRIDGE.

There was a big gathering of bowlers on the Leeston green on Saturday afternoon, the occasion being a! match between Rakaia, Leeston and Southbridge. The games were of a very interesting nature, seme of the scores being close. Of the six games played, Rakaia won two, LeestonSouthbridge won two and one was drawn. The total points were 117 for Rakaia and 98 for LeestonSouthbridge, leaving a margin of 19 in favour of the visitors.
