At the: usual weekly social in aid of the Tennis Club on Tuesday evening the competitions were. won by Mrs T. Medlin and Mr J. Benny.

A meeting of the Lincoln Football Club was held on Wednesday evening, the president (Mr W. Hopley) being in the chair. It was decided to hold the annual ball of the Club on August 18, and to engage an orchestra of four or five instruments.
