DOG THROWN AT CAR.
When Charles Bristow was fined at Kidderminister for doing wilful damage to a motor car, it was stated that his dog had been run over by a motor cycle. This so incensed Bristow that, thinking the dog was dead, he picked it up and threw it at the next passing car, smashing the windscreen.
Actually the dog was alive at the time, but it died next day. Bristow declared that his best friend had been killed.
