DUNSANDEL
THE LATE MR. SWANSON.
The respect in which the late Mr Alex Swanson was held in the Dunsandel and Selwyn districts was shown by the large gathering at the funeral, which took place on Tuesday. A short service was held in the Anglican Church by the Rev. J. A. Shardlow, who also read the burial service in the Brookside Anglican Cemetery. Bro. D. T. Wraight read the Foresters' Lodge service, and four members of the Dunsandel Lodge, of which the late Mr Swanson had been a member, were the pallbearers. They were Bros. W. J. Wraight,, F. Cruse, L. Hill and G. McDonald. Wreaths were received from the following: Amy, Mother, Mr and Mrs W. Swanson and family, Stan and Lizzie and family; Mrs Merriman, Mr and Mrs E. Hall and family, Mr and Mrs R. Burnett and family, Mrs W. B. Cunningham and Miss Cunningham, Mr and Mrs R. H. Johnston, Mr and Mrs Mercer and family, The Sheat Family, Mr and Mrs F. Smith, Mr P. Stainger and family, Mr and Mrs A.
