PERSONAL.

Mr S. R. Wright, County Engineer, and Mrs Wright have gone to the North Island for the holidays. Mr and Mrs A. J. Henderson, who have been spending a few weeks at Sumner, returned to Leeston yesterday. Mr R. G. Power, who has been indisposed for several weeks, was able to resume work yesterday. Mrs Hadler, of Christchurch, and Miss Moody, of Croydon, England, are spending a short holiday with Mr and Mrs Lionel Donald, of -Doyleston. Mrs John Kilbride, of Southbridge, who has been enjoying a holiday at Matamata as the guest of her sister, is expected to arrive home on Thursday. She will be accompanied by her daughter, Miss L. B. Kilbride, who has been a resident of Matamata for several years.
