A FINE CONCERT
AT SOUTHBRIDGE NEXT
TUESDAY,
IN AID OF NAZARETH HOUSE
Southbridge residents, and folk from other parts of the district who intend to be present, may look forward to a very fine evening's enjoyment next Tuesday, when a concert will be given in the Southbridge Town Hall by the Woodward and Campbell Variety Concert Party, comprising a number of leading Christehurch performers. The programme will include a gerat variety of items and the public should not miss the opportunity of attending what promises to be one of the best concerts given in Southbridge for a long time. The proceeds are to go to a cause that should appeal to every resident of the district as an exceptionally worthy one —the Nazareth House building fund. Nazareth House, as is well known, is a home for orphan children and aged and destitute people, of whom several hundred are cared for. A dance will follow the concert, and the music will be supplied by the concert party band. Those who have not already secured tickets should get into touch with Mr T. G. Brown, of Sedgemere, who is acting as the local organ-
ising secretary.
