4 PERSONAL MESSAGE ——»+* Fellow Citizens: In asking- for a continuance of your support and co-operation, my one desire is to serve NewZealand. I have always believed in a plain plan of work which I have honestly endeavoured to carry out. My policy in 1925 was one with which every patriotic New Zealander could associate himself. Some additions and alterations have now been made—for time moves on, aiid we must meet changing conditions. The underlying- principles, however, are essentially the same. I cannot offer you somethingfo r nothing-. The measure of our national prosperity must depend on our work and our thrift. Let us, therefore, combine to promote still further the advancement of the land we love so well. J. G. COATES.
