NEXT SATURDAY.

"THE SPOTLIGHT."

Next Saturday' evening the Leeston Pictures will commence at a later hour than- usual, 8.40 p.m. in order that Jjhose who return by the county picnic train will have an opportunity of attending.

Intimate scenes of back stage life and a glimpse into the existence of a Broadway stage sensation are among the big features that make the principal picture, "The Spotlight," one of the most interesting ever screened. Esther Ralston, the blonde beauty whose exceptional characterisations and great appeal have made her one of the most popular of film actress* cs, has the starring role. ,

"The Spotlight" is more than a story of the stage. It is the story of a real life, real love and the problems that life and love bring. Only the problems confronted by Esther Ralston as Lizzie Stokes are a little more involved than those that are encountered by the average person. Supporting Miss Ralston in this fascinating picture are Neil Hamilton, Nicholas Soussanin, Arthur Housman and Arlette Marehal. Hamilton takes the part of Norman Brooke, the man who falls hopelessly in love with the dazzling actress.
