The unexpected placing of the first, three horses in the Derby race this year resulted in fortunes coming to holders of sweepstake tickets who had anticipated nothing more than the relatively small sums which go to those who have had the luck to draw a runner. The ticket for Felstead in the Stock Exchange Fund draw went to Miss Nita Helm, of Barrow, who is private secretary to the managing director of a firm of wine and spirits merchants in that town.
