TAI TAPU

The benedicts of Tai Tapu recently held a successful ball in the Town Hall. Miss Moore's orchestra provided the music. The committee responsible for the arrangements were Mesdames Larcombe, Ryan, Mackenzie, Brown, Studholme, Suckling, Messrs Mackenzie, Larcombe (hon. secretary), and J. Nimmo. Mr S. Peryman was M.C.

The Tai Tapu School girls' B hockey team played a match against the Lincoln B team on Monday, and won by 10 to nil. The Lincoln girls very kindly provided afternoon tea. Miss Taylor was referee.
