SWEEP THE BOARD

HARLEYS AND NEW HUDSONS.

At the Motor Cycle Races held on New Brighton Beach on Saturday New Hudsons aud Harleys had a remarkable run of successes, practically sweeping the board, proving beyond doubt that these two makes of machines stand right out for speed and reliability. The competing Harleys and New Hudsons were all standard stock model machines, tuned and ridden by private owners. Following is the list of successes: Four miles Maiden —First, second and third and fastest time. Six miles open.—Second and third and fastest time from scratch. Eight miles open.—First, third and fastest time from scratch. The little 2f Harley has proved itself to be a wonderful machine. It still maintains an unbeaten record, though it has conceded tremendous starts to machines of greater power. Messrs Jones Motors, Ltd., are the distributors for both the Harley and New Hudson.
