LARGE MANGOLDS.
This season seems to have been an exceptionally good one for mangolds, some very large yields having been ob-' tamed in various parts of the district. -vA few specimens from a crop grown by Mr Jaincs Adams are ,en view at the National Mortgage premises, one turning the scales at just on 3O3bs. They were grown .from Sutton 's Yellow \ Globe Prizewinner seed, and the fertiliser used was National mangold mixture.
