PIGS ON PASTURE.
Oats should be pastured when in the short-blade stage. With normal con ditions, the pasture should be ready for vise seven weeks from the date of seeding. Rape is best sown in rows 12 inches apart, and at the rate of 31b to 41b seed per acre.
