THE KING "SNAPPED"
POSING FOR AMATEURS
Tavo women amateur photographers had a pleasant experience in Windsor Great Park recently. They were strolling near the double gates, when the King, accompanied by Sir Clive Wigram, approached on horseback.
The photographers prepared to take a snapshot, and stationed themselves in the Long Walk, just Avhere the King would pass through the gateway. Their disappointment was great when the lodge-keeper intervened and informed them that the taking of photographs was against the regulations.
His Majesty noticed what had transpired, and, much to the delight of the women, intimated that they might take a photograph. The King pulled up while they manipulated their, cameras and took their snapshot. The photographers gratefully acknowledged His Majesty's courtesy, and the King rode off with a smile.
