2AQ TAIHAPE

This North Island station is generally to be found down on the short waves, but during the last week he has been disturbing the ether on about 309 meters, and _;ery close to station 3YA, Christchurch.. 2AQ's transmission is not of the quality that generally is to be heard from this North Island station, signal strength being good but modulation very bad. The musical items were much better than speech, which was very rough and hard to understand. When 2AQ's signals become as of old there will be many good, evenings 'entertainments in store for local listeners. Signal strength is much greater than that sent out from Home Recreations 3ZC gtation, Christchurch.
